Privacy policy
This policy explains what information adrianrodriguez.me collects, why, and how it is handled. In short: this website doesn’t sell your information, doesn’t require an account, and only collects what’s needed to answer you and understand how the site is used.
Who is responsible
Adrian Rodriguez, web design and development, based in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. You can reach me at contact@adrianrodriguez.me or 647-572-7251.
Information you give me
When you email or call me, I receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, and details about your business or project. I use it only to reply, prepare a quote, and deliver the services you ask for. I don’t sell it or share it with anyone.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics. If you accept cookies, it collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you found the site, your type of device and browser, and your approximate location (city or country). It doesn’t tell me who you are. If you decline, it only receives basic signals without cookies (such as the page viewed) that aren’t linked to you. I use it only to understand how the site is used and improve it.
- Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages quickly and protect the site from attacks.
The services I use to run this website and my business, such as Google and Cloudflare, may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws.
Cookies
The only cookies on this site are the ones Google Analytics uses, and they’re only set if you click Accept in the cookie banner. There are no advertising cookies. You can at any time, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
How long information is kept
Emails and project details are kept for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and meet business and tax record-keeping requirements. Google Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing contact@adrianrodriguez.me. I’ll respond within 30 days. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, if you live in Quebec, Law 25 give you these rights.
Security
This site uses a secure HTTPS connection and modern security settings. I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share, but no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
